I have a mild obsession with Chick-fil-A sauce. I love Chick-fil-A! When I go, I usually just get their Chick-fil-A sandwich, but a few months ago, a friend introduced me to fries with Chick-fil-A sauce. YUM! Since then, I have been hording the sauce. I've even asked friends to pick some up for me if I knew they were going there. Well, I ran out last week and decided to look for a recipe. It's the easiest recipe in the world and tastes just like it!
Homemade Chick-fil-A Saucefood.com
1/2 cup Ken's Steakhouse Honey Mustard Dressing (must use this brand)
1 tsp BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
Mix well and enjoy!!
I. love. you. I am also an addict. Chick fil a sauce is also good with pretzels. Just FYI. But yes, with the fries. Oh my. One day they messed up and gave me honey mustard at the drive through. I about cried when I got home. Thanks for this. Can't wait to try it.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Lacey! Good to know there are other addicts out there!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You should also try it with pizza. It is about the most delicious thing ever. I am going to go make this right now so I can have my pizza with it :)
ReplyDeleteJust about every Honey Mustard Sauce That I Have Found Contains Yellow 5 (Tartrazine) That I am Allergic To. Do you know of any brand without the Yellow 5?

@Donald Sorry, I can't help with that. Maybe you could try making your own?
ReplyDeleteI love Chick fil a sauce...as well as Ken's honey mustard and Sweet Baby Ray's! I make our own version of Ken's hm...so I will have to try making this!
ReplyDeleteI love this sauce too. Thank you so much for the recipe. I use that sauce on a lot of stuff...The most unusual...deviled eggs! Haha
ReplyDeleteIs it good?
DeleteOf course! I only post good recipes! :)
DeleteHomemade recipe

2 T. yellow mustard
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 T. rice vinegar
2 T. honey
Whisk together. The best!
This sounds like it is closer than the recipe I tried before to duplicate Chick-Fil-A sauce. I don't think we need a support group. I think we should start a fan club! LOL. I've used the sauce in every day sandwhiches, eggs, probably pizza, rice, meat, salads, etc. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNow, if I could only duplicate their spicy chicken!... Hmmm...
A few folks say they will have to try this recipe and that is sounds close. I HAVE tried it with these exact ingredients and it is dead on! My daughter says your recipe is very close but even better. Thank you so much for sharing something simple that makes life a little better :)
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much for this! All the other recipes I could find were much more complicated in that they involved sevetal more than just 2 ingredients. We are addicts to crispy chicken strips with the chicfila sauce.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely use Ken’s Honey Muatard sauce and use a nice brand of honey BBQ sauce. If you are using a BBQ without honey, add 1t honey (or a little more)! Homemade perfection!
